This is a great book that really makes you think. It was required reading for a class and very glad it was. The many authors who penned their years of experience have come together to bring a book that is full of knowledge that would be very useful for anyone who is in a leadership position or seeking a leadership position. Great for church boards, lay leaders, etc. Highly recommend this for a group study.

This was a required read for me during my Master Degree program at Azusa Pacific University in California. I would highly recomend this book to all Managers / Leaders. I have completed the program, and am now re-reading this book because I found it so interesting. I considered the information I found in this book very thought provoking, and was glad it was required in my course, or otherwise I may have never found this gem.

This book was fantastic on the subject matter covered. It explains thoroughly how to plant churches by the 3 basic models and how to help them grow, and how to effectively contribute to already existing churches, as well as full scale churches. Very essential information is presented for anyone who wants to futher the kingdom of God in any way.

This book really touched me, showed me how to become the best leader I could possibly be. It shows you the ropes to become better at leading people in the church.

Love this series! Can't wait to swipe (borrow) the book once my young daughter tires of it. She's already read it about 4 times. It's fun, whimsical and refreshing. While the story is a similar kind of plot as Calvin and Hobbes (a child and his/her talking animal friend), it really shines on it's own. The art is colorful, fun, and original. The characters are cute, fun, and silly, but also intelligent and 3-dimensional at the same time. Lots of witty banter and magical fun. I also really like that the unicorn (Marigold) can actually be seen by Phoebe's parents. It is totally worth a owning—especially if you have a little girl (or you yourself reading funny, smart comics about sarcastic unicorns and their girls).

My 10 year old daughter has been reading this series. I cannot buy them fast enough. I bought the second one in the series, and she finished it, and another book in 1 day. Really Great book. Laid out in comic book style, but it gives them such a imaginative visualization of the story, that they are sucked into it and can't stop reading it.

My 7 yr old adores this series. It’s a great way for reluctant readers, fans of unicorns, or lovers of graphic novels to enjoy reading. My kid loves these so much she wants to make her own graphic novels now!

Very cute book with multi-dimensional characters and (for a book with a unicorn) grade school problems that are if anything, too real. On page 123 there's a misprint. It says "afoot" and obviously the author meant "aloof" . Otherwise the pun doesn't work. Autocorrect strikes again.

These books are my daughters favorite. She loves the graphic novels. Some of the words difficult or unfamiliar to her (2nd grade) but she loves story.

My 6-year-old daughter loves these books! There aren't a lot of kid-safe graphic novels for girly girls. Girls can read graphic novels of any theme, of course, but my kiddo only likes to read about girl characters, and likes "pretty" graphics! But so many of the comics out there are aimed at teen and adult men, and aren't appropriate or empowering for younger female audiences.Graphic novels are a great way to promote independent reading, since they're hard to follow when read aloud by someone else. And they are great for teaching emotion recognition, with multiple facial expressions per page. And most introduce the thought versus speech concept, which is especially good for kids with social delays, who don't always realize that not everyone says what they think or means what they say.

As menopause was approaching, I saw changes in my cognitive functioning. Upon looking for answers, I found this book. I am so glad I did. It explained everything I was experiencing and that knowledge alone made me feel so much better. I didn't take hormones or do anything special except give myself a break for any changes I experienced in cognition. You basically have to do that with your body changes, so acceptance of cognitive changes is no different. At least with cognitive changes, you can make lists to help memory and just give yourself a break. I give this book to friends before they hit menopause. Knowledge is power. I also tell them that when they no longer need it, they should pass it on to another woman who could use it (apologies to the author). We all need to know what is happening to our minds as well as our bodies during and before menopause. I will tell you that your future is bright!

I think this is a very good book and provides information consistent with research into the relationship between estrogen levels and memory.

We get only half the story with this book. Now most current research has debunked that estrogen is the cure for Alzheimers.

This book was excellent in helping me understand what was happening to me. It did not do a very good job of covering treatment options. I read Menopause for Dummies which didn't cover my symptoms as well as this book did, but did an excellent job of covering the treatment options.
